SGX Nifty indicates a weak start to trade

The Singapore traded SGX Nifty, an early indicator of Nifty’s performance in India, fell 0.7 percent to 9,467.

Here are some of the key stocks to watch in today’s session:

Apollo Hospitals

  • The Integrated (Mauritius) Healthcare Holdings, an arm of Malaysian sovereign fund Khazanah Nasional Bhd, sold 66.5 lakh equity shares, or 4.78 percent stake, in a price range of Rs 1,245-1,260 per share.
  • Deutsche Bank is the sole book runner for this stake sale which is valued at Rs 838.5 crore
  • Proceeds from the disposal would be applied to the working capital needs of the IHH group
  • Integrated (Mauritius) Healthcare Holdings held 4.78 percent stake in Apollo Hospitals as of March 31, 2017
  • This is the second time in the last three months, where Integrated (Mauritius) will be selling its stake in the company. On March 2, 2017 the investment arm had reduced its stake by 6.07 percent in a deal valued at close to Rs 1,070 crore.
  • Integrated (Mauritius) Healthcare Holdings entered Apollo Hospital Enterprise back on May 27, 2011 by purchasing 1.1 crore equity shares followed by an additional purchase of 40.9 lakh equity shares on October 18, 2011.
