SGX Nifty indicates another positive start for the index

The Singapore traded SGX Nifty, an early indicator of Nifty’s performance in India, gained 0.4 percent to 9,458.

Tata Motors

  • April wholesale car sales, including Jaguar Land Rover, stood at 73.691 vehicles, down 9 percent year-on-year
  • Global wholesale figures for Jaguar Land Rover stood at 41,923 vehicles
  • Jaguar wholesale figures stood at 12,608 vehicles
  • Land Rover wholesale figures stood at 29,315 vehicles

Siemens

  • Total orders increase by 96 percent and revenue grows 24 percent from continuing operations
  • Total orders stand at Rs 4,725 crore compared to Rs 2,410 crore during the second quarter in 2016
  • Orders included a large HVDC order awarded from PGCIL for a value of Rs 1,682 crore
