Stocks To Watch: Grasim, Hindustan Unilever, Reliance Industries

The Singapore traded SGX Nifty, an early indicator of Nifty’s performance in India, fell 0.45 percent to 9,225.

Here are the stocks to watch out for in today’s session:

Reliance Industries

  • Wholly-owned subsidiary Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd., withdrew its three months complementary offer
  • Offer withdrawn post Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s order
  • Customers who have subscribed to the complementary offers prior to discontinuation will remain eligible for the offer

Deepak Fertilizers and Petrochemicals Corporation

  • Wholly-owned subsidiary Smartchem Technologies Ltd. will acquire 76 percent stake in Performance Chemiserve Pvt.
  • Stake buy to be done via a fresh issue to fund further growth in PCPL
  • PCPL engaged in packaging services to the chemical industry since 2006

Dynamatic Technologies

  • Signs an agreement between Magal Security Systems Ltd. an Israeli company
  • Agreement to pursue integrated security projects in India
  • Aims to provide combined integrated border management solutions
  • Also aims to answer the increasing demand in the Indian markets for high-end security products and solutions for critical infrastructure

Gammon Infrastructure

  • Acquires 24 percent stake in Indira Container Terminal Pvt. Ltd. for Rs 15 crore
  • ICTPL has now become the subsidiary of the company
  • Gammon stake rises to 74 percent in the company

SML Isuzu

  • Company and its dealers have inventory of approximately 1,800 BS-III vehicles
  • Will take convert some vehicles into BS-IV and export some vehicles
  • Procedure to carry out both will involve additional expenditure
  • Arshiya Limited: Seeks shareholder approval to issue equity shares, optionally convertible redeemable preference shares, warrants on preferential basis
  • Somany Ceramics: Issues commercial papers worth Rs 40 crore
  • SMS Pharmaceuticals: Invests Rs 2.7 crore in VKT Pharma Pvt. The company now holds 41.08 percent stake in VKT Pharma
  • Indian Bank: Fixes MCLR in the range of 8.15 percent to 8.9 percent depending on the maturity
  • Datamatics Global Services: Wholly-owned subsidiary, Datamatics Global Services Inc. has incorporated a new entity named Datamatics Robotics Software Inc. in the U.S.
  • RBL Bank: Opens IFSC banking unit at GIFT City.
  • Gammon India: NCLT approves the Scheme of Arrangement between Gammon India Ltd. and Transrail Lighting Ltd. and their respective shareholders and creditors for transfer of the company's T&D undertaking.
  • GE Power: Awarded a contract worth approximately Rs 237.6 crore by GE Power AG
