The Nifty futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange, an early indicator of Nifty’s performance in India, gained 0.4 percent to 8,797.

Here are the stocks to watch out for in today’s session:

Lupin

  • Receives final approval for Triamcinolone Acentonide cream from the U.S. FDA
  • Approval to market a generic equivalent of Mylan Pharma Inc's Triamcinolone Acentonide cream
  • Cream had total U.S. sales of $55.7 million

Bharat Forge

  • Divests its entire stake in Kalyani Polytechnic Pvt. Ltd.
  • Kalyani Polytechnic now ceases to be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bharat Forge Ltd.

IL&FS Transportation Networks

  • Joint venture with IL&FS Engineering & Construction bags projects under Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation (MPRDC)
  • Project for widening and reconstruction of Ganj-Rajnagar Road, Laundi-Mahoba Road, Nawgong-Srinagar Road and Baxwaha-Dalpatpur road
  • Project cost estimated to be Rs 175.48 crore with a construction period of 20 months.

Accelya Kale Solutions

  • Announces their intention to combine with Mercator to create a leading global technology enabled solutions provider to airlines, travel agents and freight forwarders.
  • Combined entity to have annual revenues exceeding $200 million
  • Terms of transactions remain undisclosed
  • Warbug Pincus to be majority shareholders in the combined entity.

  • Dr Reddy’s Laboratories: Net profit for the quarter ended December 31 falls 15.8 percent to Rs 492.3 crore compared to Rs 585.7 crore last year.
  • ACC: Third quarter profit falls 52.93 percent to Rs 48.28 crore from Rs 102.58 crore on account of one-time provisioning of Rs 42.81 crore.
  • Jet Airways: Q3 net profit falls nearly 70 percent to Rs 142.38 crore compared to Rs 467.11 crore in the year ago period due to steep rise in fuel costs.
