The Nifty Futures on the Singapore Exchange, an early indicator of Nifty’s performance in India, fell 1.5 percent to 8,419.

• Sun Pharma: Company will merge 4 units that are either direct or indirect wholly owned subsidiaries of the company.

• Shoppers Stop: Stores at Inorbit Mall, Pune, Nirmal Lifestyle, Mulund and Hypercity store at Inorbit Mall, Pune, shutdown due to lower than expected businesses and its low profitability.
• Wipro: Wins ‘I.T. Provider of the Year’ customer’s choice award at the Payload Asia Awards 2016.
• NHPC: Company will consider the proposal for raising of Rs 2,250 crore through issuance of “V” series corporate bonds on private placement basis on November 18, 2016.
