Here are the stocks to watch in today’s session

The Nifty Futures on the Singapore Exchange, an early indicator of Nifty’s performance in India, climbed 0.1 percent to 8,617.

Here are the stocks to watch out for in today’s session:

  • Bosch: Resumes operations at Jaipur plant after Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board keeps a notice to close the plant in abeyance for a month.
  • Sical Logistics: Signs contract with West Bengal Power Distribution Corporation. The project, expected to go on for seven years can generate revenues worth Rs 1,500 crore.
  • Sun Pharma: Pledges 15,000 equity shares in favour of Kotak Mahindra Investments
  • Heritage Foods: Signs agreement to purchase Dairy Business of Reliance Retail.
  • Biocon: Ranked among global top 10 biotech employers; the only Asian company to feature in 2016 rankings.
  • Reliance Capital: Board of Directors approve de-merger of real estate lending business into its wholly owned subsidiary viz. Reliance Home Finance Ltd., subject to required approvals.
  • Sagar Cements: CARE upgraded long term bank facilities of Rs 227.55 crore to ‘CARE BBB’ from ‘CARE BBB-’ and short term bank facilities of Rs 25 crore to ‘CARE A3+’ from ‘CARE A3.’
  • GMR Infrastructure: Company along with GEK Terna group of Greece submits bid for new international airport in Greece. The bid is for development, operations and management of the new airport for a concession period of 35 years.

Tata Group Stocks

  • Tata Chemicals: Brickwork Ratings has placed the earlier rating of ‘BWR AA+’ to ‘BWR AA+’ under watch with developing implications to the company’s unsecured NCD issue of Rs 250 crore.
  • Tata Steel: Brickwork Ratings has revised its outlook for the steel maker to negative and also downgraded its ratings for its NCDs worth Rs 6,500 crore.

Steel major to invest Rs 875 crore in Canada, out of which Rs 250 crore infused as debt in Quebec and Rs 625 crore invested in its subsidiary. (Economic Times)

The new marginal cost of funds based lending rate (MCLR) will be effective from November 1. For overnight tenor, it will be lower by 0.1 per cent to 8.75 per cent, for 3 months 8.85 per cent, one-year term 8.95 per cent, ICICI Bank said.
