Here are the stocks to watch out for in today’s session

The Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange, an early indicator of it’s performance in India, is trading with gains at 8,762.

Here are the stocks to watch out for in today’s session:

  • Apollo Tyres: High Court of Kerala sanctions scheme of amalgamation of Apollo (Mauritius) Holdings Pvt. Ltd. (AMHPL), a wholly owned subsidiary, with the company.
  • ITC: To sell U.S. subsidiary, King Maker Marketing Inc. for $24 million
  • MOIL: Promoter holding falls to 75.58 percent from 80 percent post buyback.
  • Wipro: Launches AgileBase platform on Microsoft Azure, enhances development and operations (DevOps) adoption.
  • Adani Transmission: Completes the acquisition of GMR Energy Ltd.’s operational transmission assets
  • Power Grid: Powergrid Vizag Transmission Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. has successfully completed the Srikakulam - Vemagiri 765 kV D/c line though Tariff Based Competitive Bidding.
  • Tata Teleservices: Wins spectrum in 1,800 megahetrz (MHz) band in Mumbai and Maharashtra service areas.
  • JK Paper: Acquires the remaining 16,865 fully paid equity shares of Rs 10 each of JK Enviro-Tech Ltd. which now becomes the wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.
  • JSW Steel: Preferred bidder for five mines in the category ‘C’auctions in Karnataka.
  • Fortis Healthcare: Wholly-owned subsidiary company Fortis Healthcare International Ltd., incorporated in Mauritius has agreed to accept a credit facility of 150 million Singapore dollars from Consortium of Bank (Singapore).
  • Excel Crop Care: Sumitomo Chemical Co. buys 20.26 percent stake in off-market sale.
  • IRB Infra: Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation has terminated the concession agreement for the Mumbai-Pune Phase II project. Company to continue holding toll rights till August 2019.
  • Dr Reddy’s Labs: Forays into Colombia with oncology products portfolio.
  • A2Z Infra Engineering: Awarded a contract from Jharkhand Urja Sancharan Nigam Ltd. (JUSNL) for Design, Engineering, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning on turnkey basis of deposit work of M/s. SAIL for Rs 96 crore.
  • Hindusthan National Glass and Industries: The Company in consultation with its legal counsel, has initiated appropriate legal recourse against a winding up petition filed before the Kolkata High Court.

Fund Raising:

  • Shriram City Union Finance: To raise upto Rs 100 crore via non-convertible debentures (NCD).
  • Ujjivan Financial: To raise 175 crore via NCDs.
  • Apollo Hospitals: Approves allotment of NCDs to Yes Bank and Birla Sun Life worth Rs 300 crore.
  • Vedanta: Board approves raising up to Rs 1,250 cr via NCDs.
