AAP Leaders Released From Detention

21 AAP workers including Delhi Minister and AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj released from Bawana Police station, reported ANI. They were detained during the party's protest against the arrest of CM Arvind Kejriwal at ITO today.

7-Day ED Custody For Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been sent to a seven-day Enforcement Directorate custody.

Arvind Kejriwal was produced in the Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi today where probe agency Enforcement Directorate requested for a 10-day custody. Earlier, AAP ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj were detained by the police during the party's protest against Kejriwal's arrest last night by the Enforcement Directorate in the Delhi liquor policy case.

AAP workers began their protest at Delhi's ITO, where security has been stepped up. Paramilitary personnel in riot gear have been deployed to quell any protests. All roads leading to AAP's office in Delhi have been blocked.

Kejriwal has withdrawn a Supreme Court petition against his arrest, sources told NDTV. The chief minister will now approach a lower court over his arrest on Thursday night by a 12-member team of the probe agency which reached his official residence with a search warrant.

Kejriwal To Be In Jail Till March 28

A Delhi Court has remanded Arvind Kejriwal to ED custody till March 28 in the excise policy case. Special Judge Kaveri Baweja at the Rouse Avenue court passed the remand order after hearing detailed submissions by the ED as well as Kejriwal's counsel.

The probe agency had sought 10 days remand. The court has asked ED to produce Kejriwal before the court on March 28.

Delhi Rouse Avenue Court's Special Judge reserves the order on the ED application seeking 10 days custodial remand of CM Arvind Kejriwal in the excise policy case. The order will be passed shortly.

Petition Seeks Arvind Kejriwal's Removal From CM Post

A Public Interest Litigation, or PIL, was filed in the Delhi High Court today seeking Arvind Kejriwal's removal from the post of the Chief Minister after his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate in an excise policy-linked money laundering case. According to court sources, the petition has some defects and will be listed for hearing once these are rectified, reported news agency PTI.

Protests erupted outside Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence on Thursday night after his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate in an excise policy-linked money laundering case.

The Delhi Police has detained around two dozen Aam Aadmi Party workers, including MLAs, who were trying to block the road near the chief minister's residence.

Party leaders and workers started gathering in the area while the Enforcement Directorate was questioning Kejriwal at his residence.
