What Xi and Modi Will Discuss This Weekend

(Bloomberg) -- President Xi Jinping and India’s Narendra Modi will discuss how to guide bilateral ties as they hold an “informal meeting” during Xi’s visit to India and Nepal Oct. 11-13.

China vice foreign minister Luo Zhaohui, foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying brief in Beijing:

• Two leaders will have relaxed atmosphere to exchange views without fixed topics
• New type of exchange between Chinese and Indian leaders, has proven effective
• China and Nepal will release new blueprint for BRI cooperation
• China and Nepal considering elevating bilateral relations; will discuss developing border ports, railways and roads
