Swiss Economy Probably Dodged Trouble Hitting Neighbors
(Bloomberg) -- The Swiss economy probably grew again at the end of last year, even as neighboring Germany stagnated and Italy sank into recession. Having unexpectedly contracted in the third quarter, momentum is set to have rebounded in the fourth thanks to robust domestic demand. The reading for gross domestic product -- due on Thursday -- may show a 0.4 percent increase in the period, according to a Bloomberg survey.
