Italy’s Plans for a Minimum Wage Stay on Paper for Now

(Bloomberg) -- Italy is one of six European Union nations without a national minimum wage. The government has pledged to introduce one, but so far the coalition’s two main parties haven’t made much progress. An upcoming review of the administration’s priorities will be the occasion to evaluate the plan against the reality of Italy’s cash-strapped finances.
