How many hours of sleep do you get a night?

Seven to eight hours on average.

What time do you set your alarm clock for?

A quarter to seven in the morning.

Are you a morning or evening person?

I’m a day person.

What’s your typical workout?

Walking for an hour a day, if I can afford the time.

What’s your favorite sport or sports team?

Tennis.

Which app is in heavy rotation on your phone?

None.

What’s the best book you’ve read recently?

The First Tycoon: The Epic Life of Cornelius Vanderbilt.

Printed book, always.

Do you have a strategy to fight jet lag?

Never troubled by jet lag. I seem to be immune.

What is your biggest fear?

The fear itself.

What’s the best advice you’ve gotten?

To stay away from temptations.

What’s the best advice you’ve given?

Never give up!

If you were 20, what business would you get into?

No idea, because I am not 20. Subjunctive mood won’t give you the right answer.

Beijing.

What’s your favorite museum or artist?

Louvre Museum and Jascha Heifetz.

Do you ever expect to retire?

Never retire as it is usually understood.
