China Says It Will Take `Strong Countermeasures' on U.S. Tariffs

(Bloomberg) -- China’s Ministry of Commerce said Tuesday that the nation will take “strong countermeasures” if the U.S. issues a new tariff list to target $200 billion in imports.

“If the U.S. loses its sense and publishes such a list, China will have to take comprehensive quantitative and qualitative measures and retaliate forcefully," according to a statement on the Ministry’s website.
