(Bloomberg) -- One point that’s often overlooked amid the U.S. protectionist threats -- Japan does a lot of business with Europe and China, too. And with those trading partners lowering barriers, Japan’s exports to those markets look set to sustain considerable growth over the longer term. This would provide an offset to any U.S. tariffs, research by Bloomberg Economics shows.
