India Completes 'Mission Shakti': PM
India’s scientists have destroyed a “live satellite” in the lower earth orbit today, completing a high-tech and difficult task, dubbed as “Mission Shakti”.
India today shot down a low orbit live satellite, becoming the fourth nation in the world to have the capability to do so.Narendra Modi, Prime Minister
He congratulated the country on this achievement, thanking the country’s scientists.
The mission was carried out using an ASAT missile and the mission was carried out in just three minutes, Modi said today.
