Gujarat Adds Over 14,000 New Covid-19 Cases, 21 Deaths
Gujarat added 14,781 new Covid-19 cases and 21 deaths in the last 24 hours, ANI reported.
The active cases in the state now stand at 1,28,192.
Mumbai Adds Over 1,800 New Covid-19 Cases
Mumbai reported 1,858 new Covid-19 cases, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation said in a release.
Total active cases in the city are at 22,364.
Delhi Adds Over 7,000 New Covid-19 Cases, 29 Deaths
Delhi added 7,498 new Covid-19 cases and 29 deaths, ANI reported. Positivity rate stood at 10.59%.
The active cases in the state now stand at 38,315.
Kerela Adds Over 49,000 New Covid-19 Cases, 63 Deaths
Kerala added 49,771 new Covid-19 cases and 63 deaths in the last 24-hours, ANI reported.
The active cases in the state now stand at 3,00,556.
New Cases Rise To 2.85 Lakh In 24 Hours
Active Covid-19 cases in India climbed taking the total tally of Covid-19 cases to 4,00,85,116, according to the Union health ministry data updated on Wednesday.
The nation reported over 2.85 lakh new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. Daily recoveries stood at 2.99 lakh. Meanwhile, the death toll has climbed to 4,91,127 today with 665 fresh fatalities.
The Omicron tally is not updated on the government's PIB website.
The daily positivity rate was recorded at 16.16% while the weekly positivity rate was recorded at 17.33%, according to the ministry. The cumulative doses administered in the country so far under the nationwide Covid-19 vaccination drive has exceeded 163.58 crore.
