More Than 21,000 Cases Recorded In West Bengal

Kerala added 9,066 fresh Covid cases on Tuesday, ANI reported. Daily recoveries in the state stood at 2,064 and 19 fatalities were reported.
Private Offices In Delhi Closed, Barring Those In Exempted Category
All private offices except for those under the exempted category to remain closed, said Delhi Disaster Management Authority in an order. All restaurants and bars shall also remain closed with the exemption that restaurants will be allowed to service home delivery and takeaway orders.

India continued to add more than a lakh Covid-19 cases in a day as the Omicron variant spreads.
The nation reported as many as 1.68 lakh fresh coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update at 8 a.m. on Jan. 11. That compares with 69,959 recoveries recorded during the period.
The number of fresh cases, however, were lower than the previous day.
