Covid-19 Updates: India Continues To Add Over 40,000 New Cases A Day

India continued to report more than 40,000 new cases of Covid-19 in a day, even as active infections fell after rising marginally on Thursday.
Over 43,000 people tested positive for the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on July 9. Around 44,500 patients recovered during the same period, taking active infections lower to 4.58 lakh.
