New Covid-19 Cases Drop To Lowest In 80 Days
India's active Covid-19 cases dropped to 7.60 lakh, the lowest in 75 days, according to the union health ministry’s update on 8 am on June 19.
58,419 people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
Recoveries outnumbered daily cases for the 38th consecutive day.
The country's total infections is close to 2.99 crore. The death toll climbed to 3.86 lakh with 1,576 new fatalities.
Further, a total of 18.11 lakh Covid tests were conducted on Saturday, marginally lower than the previous day.
