Covid-19 India Updates: Active Cases Near The 4-Lakh Mark, Highest Since Aug. 9
Fresh cases of Covid-19 in India continued to spike as an imminent third wave threatens to overwhelm the country's healthcare infrastructure.
As many as 45,352 people tested positive for the coronavirus in the last 24 hours according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 9 a.m. on Sept. 3.
Daily recoveries, at around 35,000, failed to overtake fresh cases for the third day in a row. India's active case load is inching back towards the 4-lakh-mark, the highest since Aug. 9.
