Active Covid-19 cases in India dropped further to 2.77 lakh, as daily recoveries exceeded fresh cases for the fourth straight day.
23,529 people tested positive for the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on Sept. 30, after fresh cases remained sub-20,000 two days.
Active cases currently account for 0.82% of the total tally, the lowest since March last year.
