Coronavirus India Latest Updates: Over 10,000 New Cases, 526 Deaths Reported

India's active caseload continued on its downward trajectory as fresh cases remained below 15,000 for the tenth day in a row.
India added 10,853 fresh cases in the last 24 hours, with the tally rising above to 3.43 crore in the world’s second-most populous country, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on Nov. 7.
Active cases fell to 1.44 lakh, as daily recoveries, at over 12,000, exceeded new cases. The active case load makes up 0.42% of India's total tally, the lowest since March 2020.

However, 526 patients succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours, taking India's death toll higher to 4.6 lakh. This is the world's third worst fatality count, only behind U.S. and Brazil.
