Mumbai Schools Reopening Delayed Due To Omicron
Schools in Mumbai for classes 1-7 will now reopen from Dec. 15, instead of Dec. 1, in view of the emergence of Omicron variant of Covid-19, tweeted ANI quoting the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.

India's active case load fell to the one-lakh mark after the country reported its least number of fresh infections since May 28, 2020 even as the new omicron variant has triggered concerns globally.
As many as 6,990 people tested positive for the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on Nov. 30. That compares with nearly 10,116 recoveries during the period.
India's active caseload now stands at just above 1 lakh, which is the lowest in 546 days or since June 2, 2020.
