Coronavirus India Latest Updates: Lowest Number Of New Infections Reported Since Feb. 16

India's active case load continued to decline as the country reported the lowest number of new infections since Feb. 16.
India added 10,126 fresh cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on Nov. 9. That compares with nearly 12,000 recoveries made in the same period.
Active cases fell further to 1.40 lakh, and now make up 0.41% of India's total tally, the lowest since March 2020.
The daily and weekly positivity rates have also been less than 2% for last 36 and 46 days respectively, adding to signs of a contained outbreak.
