India reported the lowest number of new Covid-19 infections in more than eight months as the country covers more people under its vaccination drive.
10,423 people tested positive for the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on Nov. 2, the lowest since Feb. 16 this year.
15,021 recoveries were recorded in the same day, taking active cases lower to 1.53 lakh. Active cases account for just 0.45% of India's total Covid tally, also lowest since Feb. 25.
