Coronavirus India Latest Updates: Fresh Cases Remain Below 15,000 For Fourth Straight Day

Active Covid-19 cases in India continued to decline as the daily infection rate remained under the 15,000-mark for the fourth day in a row.
As many as 14,623 people tested positive for the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on Oct. 19. That compares with 19,446 recoveries in the same period.
India's active caseload stands at 1.78 lakh, which is the lowest since March 5 this year.
