Coronavirus India Latest Updates: Active Cases Fall To Lowest In Six Months

India's active Covid-19 case load fell to the lowest in nearly six months even as the daily infection rate stayed above the 30,000-mark.

As many as 30,256 people tested positive for the coronavirus in the last 24 hours according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on Sept. 20.

Active cases stand at 3,18,181, less than 1% of the country's total tally.

India To Get 30 Crore Doses Next Month: Health Minister

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said the country expects to get over 30 crore Covid-19 vaccine doses next month. "The production will go up as Biological E & other companies are bringing their vaccines into the market," he was quoted as saying by ANI.
