Haryana Makes Second Vaccine Dose Mandatory Starting 2022
The government of Haryana has made getting the second dose against coronavirus vaccination mandatory starting Jan. 1, 2022.
Only fully vaccinated persons will be allowed to enter public places and use public transport, the state health department said. Access to government offices, including for government officials, if an individual is not fully vaccinated.
On-the-spot vaccination teams will also be deputed by the Civil Surgeon in various districts of the state.

India's active Covid-19 cases stayed below 80,000 for second straight day as fresh infections lag daily recoveries at a time the Omicron spreads rapidly in the world's second-most populous nation.
As many as 6,317 people tested positive for the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update at 9:25 a.m. on Dec. 22. That compares with nearly 6,906 recoveries during the period.
Active cases now account for 0.22% of the nation's total tally, while recoveries form 98.3%. Active infections have been falling for 12 consecutive days.
