India's Covid-19 trajectory continued to decline with active cases falling to their lowest in over six months.
As many as 24,354 people tested positive for the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on Oct. 2. The country reported 25,455 recoveries and 234 deaths in the same period.
Active cases were at 2.73 lakh—the lowest in 197 days. They currently account for 0.8% of the total cases.
