India's Covid-19 active caseload falls.

India's active case load fell as the nation reported fewer fresh cases in the last 24 hours.

As many as 12,830 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on Oct. 31. That compares with 14,667 recoveries during the period.

Active caseload fell to 1,59,272 from 1,61,555 the previous day.

446 deaths were recorded in a single day, adding to the country's total Covid-19 death toll of more than 4.58 lakh, one of the world's worst.
