Daily New Cases Stay Over 11,000

Active Covid-19 cases in India nudged lower to 1,26,620, as of 8 a.m. on Friday morning. 12,789 recoveries were announced in a 24-hour period that saw 11,106 new cases, and 459 more deaths, according to the Health Ministry's update on Nov. 19.

Over 72 lakh vaccine doses were administered on Nov. 18, with over two-thirds of those being second doses.
