Trump-Clinton First Debate Prompts Reversals in Yen, Peso: Chart

(Bloomberg) -- The yen fell from a one-month high and Mexico’s peso rebounded from a record low as demand for havens declined during the first U.S. presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Japan’s currency had climbed earlier as a Bloomberg Politics poll showed Trump and Clinton deadlocked before the debate in New York, clouding the outlook for U.S. policy.
