(Bloomberg) -- A cease-fire in Nigeria, where militant attacks on oil infrastructure have cut the OPEC member’s crude output, is helping boost production, according to Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, the nation’s state minister for petroleum resources. That compares with an average of 1.45 million barrels a day in May, according to a survey by Bloomberg.
