Apple Suppliers Push Taiwan Market Near $1 Trillion Mark: Chart

(Bloomberg) -- Apple Inc. suppliers, led by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., are driving Taiwan’s bourse to the $1 trillion mark for the first time since June last year. The chipmaker has extended record highs as sales of new iPhone models beat estimates and foreign investors pour money into the island. TSMC dominates Taiwan’s benchmark, with an 18 percent weighting.
