Mattel Surges Amid Report of Renewed Approach by Hasbro: Chart

(Bloomberg) -- Mattel Inc. shares jumped as much as 24% in late trading after the Wall Street Journal reported that Hasbro Inc. made a renewed takeover approach for its rival toymaker. The publication didn’t say where it obtained the information.
