The Best New Rain Gear for Spring

(Bloomberg Businessweek) -- Sometimes, dealing with downpour is all about ­appearances. Last summer, at the World Cup, French President Emmanuel Macron had a winning public-relations moment when he was caught without an umbrella at the trophy presentation in his neatly traditional Jonas & Cie. suit, smiling and cheering through the pouring rain. You don’t need to go that far, but in your battle against the elements, you’ll come out dry—and looking like a winner—with these nine items.

Stutterheim Chelsea Rainwalker boots ($160) are a German twist on the original British slip-on. The natural rubber is comfortable enough to get you to the office and neat enough to wear all day.

Get in on the logo and camo trends in one take with the Valentino hooded shell coat ($2,150). Hitting midthigh, the anorak zips and snaps for dryness, and it billows loosely for style.
