(Bloomberg Businessweek) -- Nearly everyone is concerned about the health of America’s 30 million small businesses, which account for nearly half of private sector employment. The ripple effects of the novel coronavirus are pushing many to the brink.
“This is a community that has questions, and needs answers,” says Bloomberg Businessweek editor-in-chief Joel Weber. Weber and senior editor Dimitra Kessenides on April 22 led a town hall discussion that elicited lots of practical advice you may be able to employ in your own business. Panelists include:
- Molly Moon Neitzel, founder and CEO of Molly Moon’s Homemade Ice Cream (we reported on her federal lending saga in this article);
- Amanda Ballantyne, director of Main Street Alliance;
- Loren Feldman, chief content officer at 21 Hats;
- and Rob Walsh, senior adviser for strategic partnerships at Manhattan College and a former commissioner of New York City’s Dept. of Small Business Services.
You can watch the town hall here.
