World Bank Approves $750 Million for Northeastern Kenya Projects

The World Bank approved $750 million to help finance projects in northeastern Kenya aimed at improving the movement of people and goods, digital connectivity and access to social services in the region.

The funding comes under the so-called Horn of Africa Gateway Development Project, the lender said in an emailed statement.
