What To Do When Internet Banking Services Are Down

Unable to access your net banking portal or mobile banking application? Don’t worry, you can still easily access your funds.

Customers of HDFC Bank Ltd. recently faced a disruption in the internet banking services offered by the lender. Many complained that they couldn’t access their bank accounts either through net banking or through the mobile application.

The services were restored after three days. The bank said the “technical glitch” has been rectified. “Our net banking and mobile banking app platforms have now stabilised.” With almost 90 percent of the bank’s transactions happening digitally, it’s understandable that the disruption made users feel hamstrung.
