Uber Close to Exiting GrubHub Deal Talks, CNBC Says

(Bloomberg) -- Just Eat Takeaway.com is nearing an all-stock deal for GrubHub, Dow Jones reports, citing sources. The deal could be announced as soon as today.

Earlier CNBC reported Uber is close to pulling out of a merger with GrubHub over antitrust concerns raised over a possible deal, citing unidentified sources.

GrubHub is closing in on a deal with a European company, CNBC said in an earlier tweet.

GrubHub shares were trading up about 0.3% at 10:10 am ET after rising as much as 2.38% on the news; Just Eat shares down about 0.2% after falling as much as 2.33%. Uber shares are trading down about 5.00% at 10:10 New York time.
