Tata Motors Global Sales Fell 15% To 89,671 Units In November

JLR sales stood at 48,105 units in November 2019 as against 49,312 units in the year-ago month, a decline of 2.44 percent.

Global sales of automaker Tata Motors Ltd. stood at 89,671 units in November, down 15 percent from 1,04,964 units in the year-ago period.

Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in November 2019 were at 58,641 units as against 66,429 units in the same month last year, down 11.72 percent, the parent of Jaguar Land Rover said in a statement.

JLR registered global wholesales of 48,105 units in November as against 49,312 units in the year-ago month, a decline of 2.44 percent. Jaguar's wholesales for the month stood at 10,801 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales were at 37,304 vehicles.

Global wholesales of all Tata Motors commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range stood at 31,030 units in November, 19 percent lower than 38,535 in November 2018.

On Tuesday, Tata Motors shares fell 0.25 percent to Rs 160.10 apiece on the NSE while the benchmark Nifty 50 shed 0.68 percent to end the day at 11,856.80 points.
