India's key equity benchmarks logged new highs for the third consecutive session on Thursday. The S&P BSE Sensex gained 0.23% to 54,492.84. The index touched a new peak of 54,717.24 in intraday trade. The NSE Nifty 50 Index rose 0.22% to 16,294.60. The 50-stock index touched a new high of 16,349.45 in intraday trade.

Cipla, Adani Power, Tata Chemicals, Gujarat Gas, Quess Corp, Aditya Birla Capital, NCC, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Thermax, Edelweiss Financial Services, Bajaj Consumer Care and Honeywell Automation India, may react as the companies reported quarterly results after the market closed Thursday.

Mahindra & Mahindra, Hindalco Industries, AU Small Finance Bank, National Aluminium Co, Voltas, Tata Power Co, Torrent Power and The Phoenix Mills are among the companies scheduled to report earnings Friday.

Here are the stocks to watch in trade today:

  • Reliance Industries Ltd: Reliance Strategic Business Ventures Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, has invested Rs 20 crore in Neolync Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Reliance will invest Rs 40 crore more on Neolync achieving agreed milestones. Deal is expected to be complete by March 2023. Total investment will translate into 40% of Neolync. Neolync manufactures electronic products such as mobile phones, telecom products and computing devices. Reliance said that the investment is part of group’s overall 5G initiatives.

  • Indiabulls Housing Finance: The company has voluntarily decided to set aside a sum equivalent to 75% of total maturity proceeds of its 6.375% secured USD bonds in multiple stages in a reserve fund. Total payment of Rs 27.30 billion ($368 million) will be made in May 2022 with Rs 20.47 billion of reserve fund and Rs 6.82 billion of final tranche paid by the company in May 22. The company had issued 6.375% secured US Dollar denominated bonds aggregating to $350 million in May 2019 for a tenor of 3 years. The principal portion of the bonds is fully hedged as per RBI norms, thereby ensuring the outstanding bonds are effectively a rupee liability to Rs 2,730 crore.

  • Maruti Suzuki: Total production in July up 58.53% to 1,70,719 units Vs 1,07,687 units last year.

  • Force Motors: The company’s total production in July stood at 2,046 units. It reported domestic sales of 1,607 units and exports of 213 units.

  • GEE: To consider bonus issue on August 11.

  • Minda Industries: Approved closure of QIP on August 5 and issue price of Rs 720 per share. The issue price is at discount of 2.02% to the floor price of Rs 734.84 per share.

  • BL Kashyap & Sons: Has been awarded new projects worth Rs 189.85 crore. The total order inflow in FY22 now stands at Rs 694.02 crore. The company has received a concrete & block work package worth Rs 105.02 crore and a civil & block work package worth Rs 84.83 crore at Bengaluru.
