Here are the stocks to watch in trade today.

Stocks in Asia began the session mixed, with investors weighing optimism that more economies are moving toward easing lockdowns against cautionary comments from Federal Reserve officials. Shares in Sydney dipped along with those in Taiwan, while equities in Seoul and Singapore advanced.

The SGX Nifty showed a marginal gain of 0.02 percent, at 9184.50 as of 7 a.m.

  • Adani Ports & SEZ: For financial year 2021, company to reduce operating costs and capex will be curtailed to Rs.2,000 crore. Cargo throughput up 7 percent at 223 MMT for fiscal year 2020. Expecting slow pick up in cargo volume in second quarter of financial year 2021.V shape recovery possible in in the second half of the current fiscal year, post complete lifting of lockdown.
  • VST Tillers Tractors April update: Power Tillers sales up 2.6 times at 761 units. Tractors sales down 24 percent at 328 units.
  • Piramal Enterprises clarified on the news of KKR group likely to pick 20 percent stake in the company Rs. 3,500 crore, that no such proposal has been placed for approval before the board.
  • Wipro signed MoU with Maharashtra to repurpose Pune IT facility to 450-bed Covid-19 hospital. Hospital to be converted back to IT facility in a year.
  • Punjab & Sind Bank to seek shareholders nod to raise Rs 500 crore via equity capital through QIP route in one or more tranches within the next 12 months.
  • United Breweries said that its breweries located in states where permitted have resumed its operations with a limited workforce in a phased manner.
  • NIIT Technologies: Board approved the change of the company name to Coforge Limited.
  • United Spirits has resumed operations at the majority of its manufacturing facilities with reduced capacity
  • HIL has received permission from authorities to start operations in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana and Telangana.
  • GE T&D India has partially resumed operations at most of its manufacturing locations and some of the project sites.
  • Greenply Industries: Supreme Court of India upheld the Special Leave Petition filed by the Union of India in civil appeal in respect of availing of area-based exemption under Central Excise.
  • Prince Pipe & Fittings has resumed manufacturing operations at its various locations where the restrictions have been eased.
  • Pricol: Operations at two units in Coimbatore to resume with effect from May 6.
  • Jindal Stainless: Resumed its operations at the Jajpur plant in Odisha.
  • Shilpa Medicare: Board approved establishing wholly-owned arms in Canada and Spain for business operations
  • Titagarh Wagons: Italian arm has started operations with effect from May 4
  • Rallis said that capacity expansion at Dahej slightly delayed amid COVID19 lockdown.

  • EBITDA down 14.9 percent at Rs 1,644 crore (Est Rs 1,895 crore)

  • Net Profit down 74 percent at Rs 337 crore (Est Rs 887 crore)
