Smoked Turkey Is on the Menu for U.S. Thanksgiving Meal: Chart

(Bloomberg) -- When it comes to the traditional Thanksgiving meal, smoked turkey is the most popular way in the U.S. to cook the bird. November usually sees a spike in Google searches for turkey recipes, with the smoked version being the top search in 24 states, mainly across the center and northwest of the country, as well as Alaska. Roast turkey was favored in 16 states in the northeast and Hawaii, according to Google Trends.
