Sandeep Sinha Resigns As Cummins India’s Managing Director
Engines maker Cummins India Ltd. on Tuesday said its Managing Director Sandeep Sinha has resigned to pursue his own business interests outside the company.
Sinha had joined Cummins in 2004 as a corporate indirect purchasing manager. He held several leadership roles in the company since then, playing a key role in starting manufacturing plants in India.
Before his appointment as managing director, Sinha served as the chief operating officer of the company.
"We wish Sandeep well in his new career. We will miss his leadership vision, strong business acumen, and commitment to excellence," Cummins Inc.'s Vice President and President (Power Systems) Norbert Nusterer said in a statement.
The company said its board is committed to bring in Sinha's successor at the earliest.
