Please Don’t Feed or ‘Drone’ the Wildlife, Colorado Warns
(Bloomberg) -- Don’t harass wildlife with drones whether sightseeing or hunting, Colorado officials warned Tuesday. It’s against state and federal regulations and penalties can range from $70 to as high as $125,000.
“As people pick up drone use as a hobby, they also need to understand the importance of conservation ethics,” said Brian Dreher, terrestrial section manager with Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
There’s not much difference between a drone and an aerial predator to an animal in the wild, officials said.
