Lupin Appoints Sreeji Gopinathan As Its Chief Information Officer

Sreeji Gopinathan, who was previously with Reckitt Benckiser, will be based in Mumbai and lead Lupin’s IT function globally.

Lupin Ltd. has appointed Sreeji Gopinathan as its Chief Information Officer. He will lead the information technology function for Lupin globally and will be based in Mumbai.

"Sreeji brings to Lupin over 20 years of significant domain expertise and global experience," Lupin said in an exxhange filing on Thursday.

"He will expand and invigorate our initiatives in digitisation, process automation, data management and analytics which will eventually help improve business results," said Nilesh Gupta, managing director at Lupin.

Prior to joining Lupin, Gopinathan was with Reckitt Benckiser Group Plc. He has also been associated with companies including Philips AG, Procter & Gamble Co., Indian Space Research Organisation and ABB Ltd.
