London Underground Driver Tests Positive for Coronavirus: PA

A Jubilee Line train driver has tested positive for coronavirus and is now self-isolating, Transport for London confirmed via emailed statement Friday morning.
The London transport agency said it is taking all necessary precautions and that the driver in question was not working “in a customer facing area”. The areas where the driver worked are being cleaned, including the depot and the trains.
The London Underground handles up to five million passenger journeys a day. The Jubilee Line, which runs between Stratford in east London and Stanmore in suburban north-west, is the the third busiest tube line in the entire network.
The Press Association had previously reported that a London Underground driver had testing positive for coronavirus.
