Kia Seltos Bookings To Start Online, At Sales Points From Tomorrow
The Kia Seltos SUV will be available in two trims and three variants with manual and automatic transmissions across the range.
Kia Motors will start bookings of its Seltos SUV online and at 206 sales points across India from Tuesday, the South Korean carmaker said on Monday.
While the Kia Seltos’ booking amount hasn’t been disclosed, the SUV will launch on Aug. 22 at an expected price range of Rs 10-16 lakh.
"The Kia Seltos has been built from ground-up, keeping Indian customers in mind and is equipped to redefine the segment," Manohar Bhat, vice president and head (sales and marketing) at Kia Motors India Pvt. Ltd., said in a statement Monday.
The Kia Seltos will be exported from the company's plant in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, to Middle East, Africa, Latin America and other Asian countries.
The model, upon launch will be available in two trims—GT Line, which is suitable for the enthusiasts, and Tech Line, which is aimed at families.
The Kia Seltos is Bharat Stage VI compliant and will come in three variants: 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre diesel and 1.4-litre turbo petrol mated with both manual and automatic transmissions.
Apart from the Seltos, Kia Motors plans to roll out electric and hybrid cars from its India plant and is targeting to launch an electric vehicle in India by 2021
