Is 5G Utopia Or Hype?

Much has been said about 5G over the last few years. Technology gamechanger, lifesaver, even GDP booster. According to Accenture, “the impact of 5G on the U.S. economy will drive up to $2.7 trillion in additional gross output (sales) growth between 2021 and 2025.” Their modelling analysis says it will add nearly $1.5 trillion to the country’s GDP and will potentially create 16 million jobs.
